Burgeoning Massachusetts emcee Premo.Dee might be rapping about Madden, but he’s not playing around.
Earlier this month, the pensive lyricist offered his reflections in his most recent cut, “MaddenMadMen.” Laying out his thoughts over a soulful Tee8-produced beat, Premo explores the Black plight in a neatly packaged two-minute freestyle. He seamlessly oscillates between social commentary and football references, captivating listeners with what some might describe as “digestible conscious rap.”
Premo accompanies the single with a “day in the life” style music video, courtesy of Colin Pagnoni and Yazi Ferrino. While his co-star René Ramos plays Madden on their game console, Premo rolls up some weed in preparation for a post-game smoke session.
