“Can’t Do This Alone” is an ode to the people and places that make growing up a little less scary. After years of counting down the days until she could finally leave her small town in New Jersey, singer-songwriter Maddy Davis reflects on how moving out of her hometown took a greater toll on her than expected. “Can’t Do This Alone” tells the story of the early adulthood struggle: fleeing the nest and wishing you could go back.
