Fih makes toxic relationships look dreamy in "Sleep While Driving" music video

As per the video for her third official single “Sleep While Driving,” Los Angeles songwriter-emcee Fih just wants to be left alone. The song’s lyrics and visuals take you through the stages of a prototypical toxic love story while simultaneously highlighting the beauty of love in Los Angeles. The relaxed and layered vocals floating over a stripped down acoustic guitar led beat (produced by Ian Olney) embody the signature sounds of early 2000s R&B ballads and make a broken relationship feel warm and inviting.

Shot and edited by Klicquot, the video seamlessly weaves together the narrative of a suffocating relationship with visuals of a mesmerizing and liberating drive through South Los Angeles. Throughout the video, Fih, a La Brea native, pays homage to the local hubs she loved growing up and gives us a preview of two unreleased songs. Watch “Sleep While Driving” below:
