We got the chance to pick apart Steven "Morocco"'s brain about his plans and why he's got it all figured out.

You hold a lot of originality in you, how do you think you differ from others?

One thing that really sets me apart from others is my maturity at such a young age. I am only 14 years old but I have a very realistic point of view. Growing up as an only child with two divorced parents, I became very independent and I had sort of a boost into reality. I am very understanding of the real world and I know how to navigate myself and follow my own, unique path. I am extremely driven and I know what i want. I was built for this industry and I am not afraid of the obstacles that I will have to face to get where I want to be. Failure is never an option. I am an artist and a performer, I know how to direct attention onto myself. I am not easily forgettable because I know what people want and I know how to give it to them. I am very skilled in many different areas, and all of the versatility that I withhold comes together and forms an aura that people just attract to. I'm just Morocco and I have no desire to be anything else.

Besides modeling, what do you like to do? What do you like the most?

If I had to pick three passions besides modeling, they would be dance, drama, and fashion. I am trained in ballet, modern/contemporary, lyrical, jazz, and hip hop. Dance was my first love and I know that i will love it forever.

Who supports your endeavors the most? Who inspires you the most?

I have a very strong support system within my family. Everybody wants to see me succeed and prosper in every way that I can. My biggest support is probably my mom though, she knows what I want and she always gets on me when I'm not doing what I need to be doing so that I can have it. My largest inspiration is without a doubt, the queen, Ms. Naomi Campbell. She just oozes class and charm. Everyone that knows anything about her, knows how driven and strong she is. Everything she is, her attitude, her charm, her personality, her ability to make people drool with just a few steps, all of these things add up to make her completely irreplaceable. She already has such a renowned career and it is far from over. She could stop now and still be the queen but she chooses to grind everyday, I love that.

Being so young yet overly talented, how do you think this will benefit you? What kind of obstacles do you think you'll meet?

Most people never look at me and say "He looks 14" because I really don't. I have always been the youngest everywhere and I have learned to enjoy that because it sets me apart. I'm fresh, I'm new. I love being a kid because I can easily connect with the youth. My generation is insanely talented, so I'm glad I can be apart of it. However, my age can easily cause me to be overlooked and underestimated. Its fun being a kid, but not when people are looking at you as "just a kid."

Where do you see yourself ideally by the time you turn 18?

Honestly, by the time I am 18, I want to be actively booking work. I want to be traveling the world, walking and working for the largest names in the industry, and just continuing to grow in my career and in my self. I want the crazy schedule and fast life. It's actually really funny to think about it because 18 seems like it is so far away, but I will still be so young.

It's sometimes hard for truly artsy people to find themselves in the school system. Do you already know what you want to get your degree in?

I have a plethora of ideas about degrees, but mainly they revolve around fashion, dance, and business.

What's your ideal lifestyle? As far as what/where you'd like to eat, places you love to visit, clothes/designers you'd binge on?

Thankfully, my parents allow me to live a pretty financially stable life. I get to travel, dine well, and live an overall nice lifestyle. I love seeing the world and trying very different things. I am a very spontaneous person and my desires can be pretty expensive, especially when it comes to fashion. My all time favorite designer is Yves Saint Laurent, and the post-Yves brand, Saint Laurent, is killer. I also love Alessandro Michele for Gucci, Kim Jones and Nicolas Ghesquiere for Louis Vuitton , Ricardo Tisci for Givenchy, Demna Gvasalia for Balenciaga and Vetements, Jeremy Scott for Moschino, Donatella Versace for Versace, Olivier Rousteing for Balmain, Virgil Abloh for Off White, Alexander Wang for Alexander Wang, Karl Lagerfeld for Fendi and Chanel, Lucas Ossendrijver for Lanvin, Tom Ford for Tom Ford, Raf Simons for Christian Dior, honestly, the list goes on forever and one day my closet needs to be packed with work from all of these uber talented designers.
